SMTP™ - Single Mom Transformation Program
100-Day Coaching Program for Single Moms
Single moms, are you ready to jump-start your new life, heal from your separation and/or divorce, and take it to a whole new level? Perhaps you are struggling with the basic challenges every single mom faces – adjusting to single life, keeping the house in order, paying the bills, being supportive to the children, practicing excellent self-care, perhaps balancing personal and professional life -- and there are, of course, many others.
For a select group of single moms, I’ve created the SMTP™: The Single Mom Transformation Program to help you get your life back, and your game on! This Program is available for any powerful woman who (a) wants to jump-start feeling great again, gain momentum and create success, balance and fulfillment in every area of their life faster and easier than ever before, and (b) wants to have the support and synergy a group of like-minded women will provide – as well as the positive, powerful relationships that will occur. I know this Program works because it is one that I’ve used personally and was the basis for the book The Successful Single Mom.
The SMTP™ will help you to:
1.     Identify where you are now, where you want to go, and the results you want to create.
2.     Get organized.
3.     Feel self-confident and authentic and express that to the world.
4.     Create and keep unstoppable momentum, more life balance, more business and more money than ever before (and you ever thought possible!).
5.     Get control of your finances, physical body and love life.
6.     Maintain integrity, balance and personal fulfillment.
7.     Have the on-going support and accountability that ensures you reach your goals and objectives!
8.     Increase your network and make new, life-long friends.

Classes began in April, 2012 in Dallas and Austin, TX. (Interested in becoming an SMTP Facilitator? Go here for more information.)
Here’s how it works:
You will participate in 8 (eight) group coaching sessions, every other week over the course of 100 days. You will receive the SMTP Manual, which you will work through with your facilitator and fellow participants. Session contents will address individual and group needs in addition to discussion of these topics: time management, organization, self-confidence, managing money, getting fit, finding new love, creating a support system, and much more. There are optional “bonus” sessions, as well as multiple fun events (organic and intentional) throughout the class, including Single Moms Night Out.
If you'd like to have these classes in your area, please leave a comment.

Single moms, when was the last time you practiced extreme self-care?

(That's what I thought.)

So, let me make an argument for you to start doing it right now.

Being alive today places so many demands on our bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits. Being a single mom literally doubles and triples those demands.

The purpose of extreme self-care is to create a positively selfish focus on your balance, well-being, and quality of life -- which in turn benefits not only you, super single mama, but your children as well.

Self-care is often a goal, a non-supported, non-acted-upon goal. That is actually called a wish ... but I digress. Extreme self-care means you're focusing on yourself, and you have others focused on you as well.

Your team of self-care peeps can include your doctor, life coach, nutritionist, therapist and massage therapist. Don't forget your dentist, aesthetician, stylist and hair-stylist.

We all manifest extreme self-care in different ways, at different times, depending upon available self-care dollars. Be sure to adapt these ideas to meet your needs. I realize some of them might be too extreme for you right now, but then, your sense of what's possible and can attain for yourself could and can be expanding on a daily basis.

Here are some possible areas to focus on in your reach toward more extreme self-care:
  1. Stress reduction and elimination - whatever or whomever you have in your life that causes you stress, quit it, sell it, accept it or change it.
  2. Environment and family -- Revamp your home, office and relationships so they are restful and nurturing, allowing you to be your best self.
  3. Pleasure -- You know what makes you feel amazing, powerful, and unstoppable, so write them in your journal and/or place that list on your frig for quick reference.
  4. Well-being -- Live in the now and take excellent care of yourself. Do you need to see a doctor, dentist, get your hair cut? Schedule those appointments and get 'em done.
  5. Appearance -- When you look great, you feel great. Workout, re-vamp your wardrobe, get your nails done. Do whatever it takes to know "you've still got it!"
  6. Daily actions and rituals -- This is a daily process, not a one-time deal. Put in place things you know you need to do daily (I do at least 5 minutes of yoga before bed every night. It makes a world of difference.)
  7. Diet, exercise, hydration, supplementation -- What you put into your mouth and do for your body shows. Drink water, move, breath, eat amazingly well and take some supplements to support extreme health.
  8. Experts and support -- Invest in yourself in all areas of your life. Use experts to take excellent care of your mind, body, spirit, and finances. Surround yourself with loving, caring people who support you unconditionally, and won't be afraid to see you (or help you) grow.
  9. Special-care items -- What else do you need to take extreme care of yourself? Make a list in your journal, and then make those items a priority.

Taking extreme care of yourself will make you happy -- and as single moms, our kids are happy (or at least happier) when we're happy. Give yourself, and your children, that gift, starting right now!
